Greenfood's food tech company Picadeli is taking another step into the future. The company's new platform uses AI to create sharp, accurate forecasts. The technology leads to faster and more reliable orders, large savings of time, and reduced food waste.
Interest in plant-based foods based on fruit and vegetables is increasing. To meet the large demand and manage planned growth, Greenfood and Skanska have now agreed on the development of a new super plant in Helsingborg. When completed, the new building will be 44,000 square meters in size and one of northern Europe's largest centres for healthy food innovation, production, and distribution.
Yesterday, Greenfood’s head of Sustainability Lisa Isakson, spoke at the United Nations 9th Annual Forum on Business and Human Rights. She spoke on the topic of engaging with, and protecting human rights defenders. In a recent case, Greenfood, together with several other companies, helped a human rights defender in Ecuador and ensured he did not suffer any unfair treatment.
Many of the Covid-19 effects on our business have been mitigated thanks to an increased focus on experimentation, flexibility and swifter decision-making. We’ve put a lot of effort into collaboration, augmenting while focusing our product portfolio and starting to form our comeback plans already in the beginning of the crises.
